Teresa O'Neill is a lecturer in the School for Policy Studies at the University of Bristol. She has extensive experience in social work in practice, management and education and has worked as a guardian ad litem for ten years. Her research interests relate to the treatment of children in the care and criminal justice systems, institutional care and abuse and gender issues.
