Vieda Skultans is reader in Medical Anthropology at the University of Bristol. She has conducted fieldwork in South Wales, Maharashtra, Nepal and Latvia. Her most recent book The Testimony of Lives. Narrative and Memory in Post-Soviet Latvia was published by Routledge in 1998.
