Mal Leicester

Dr Mal Leicester is the Chair of Adult Learning and Teaching in the School of Education at the University of Nottingham. She was previously Senior Lecturer in Continuing Education at the University of Warwick. She has been a secondary school teacher and has worked as Avon's Advisor for Multicultural Education. She has written extensively in this area, and has personal experience of disability, having brought up a disabled child who was herself educated in special schools.
