Jennifer Overton is a graduate of York University, Toronto with a Master's Degree in Theatre Performance. Her career as a professional actor and director has spanned twenty years, including productions at leading regional theatres in Canada, as well as major film, television and radio roles. She has also taught at several theater departments at universities across Canada. In 1997 her son was diagnosed with Autism and for the last three years she has been writing about how the condition has affected her family, several of her pieces having been aired on Canadian radio to great acclaim. Jennifer lives with her husband David, son Nicholas, dog Vanna and cat Silver in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
