Jane Pooley is an organisational consultant and family psychotherapist working for the Tavistock Consultancy Service and in private practice. She was Director for Strategic Development for the Charterhouse Group, an independent organisation devoted to the development and support of therapeutic communities for children and young people, and other institutions whose practice is underpinned by psychodynamic principles and has worked for many years as a clinician and manager in inpatient and community mental health settings.
