Judith Hassan

Judith Hassan is Director of Services for Holocaust Survivors and Refugees for Jewish Care, based at Shalvata in Hendon, London. She is a qualified social worker, has been an area team leader for social workers and director of a multidisciplinary mental health centre. She was awarded the National Care Awards Lifetime Achievement in Care Award in 2007 for her work with Holocaust survivors and refugees, and an OBE for services to Holocaust Survivors in 2008. Judith is also a trustee of the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust and has published numerous articles on the subject of war trauma.
