I work with Children and Adolescents with Learning Disabilities who also have challenging behaviour and/or mental health problems. Many are on the Autistic Spectrum but is still did not recognise that my husband of 37 years was an aspie and my son, or that my 2 daughters are either aspies or at least very much on the autistic specturm! reading '22 things a Woman must know' really helped me to recognise many behaviours that have realy been upsetting to me and have been unresolved over the course of my marriage suddenly became very clear, understandable and acceptable as it was the aspergers that was the main reason for them. It felt like someone had been sitting on my shoulder for the past 40 years and then as i read the book said "remember when he said this/that or did this/that? well this is why" it was a complete revelation and it gave us back our marriage and our future. it is beautifully written and presented in easy read format for busy people too! THANK -YOU!!
